Eight teams

Open to a maximum of eight teams, the Great8 team challenge invites organisations from all sectors to test their team’s prowess, demonstrating and developing their transferrable team skills.

 

Eight people

Teams of eight people, from senior leadership teams to new starters, are invited to take part in the Great8 team challenge. A mix of cognitive, creative and physical challenges engage and stretch teams of all levels.

 

Eight challenges

Teams need to prioritise, plan and complete as many of the Great8 challenges as possible within the three hour time limit.   A variety of challenges ensure that teams must allocate their strengths wisely to maximise results.

 

Eight team skills

Teams will need to demonstrate eight key skills to succeed in the Great8 team challenge … Direction, Persistence, Flexibility, Communication, Ownership, Reliability, Teamwork and Motivation will all be put to the test.

Where?

The Great8 team challenge takes place on Alderfen Marshes in Surlingham, near Norwich. This nine acre conservation area, on the Norfolk Broads, provides an idyllic backdrop.

 

How?

Just let us know if you are interested in finding out more or entering a team into the Great8 team challenge. Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Closing date for entries is 31st March 2018.

 

When?

All Great8 team challenges take place between April and June 2018.  Each team has half a day on Alderfen Marshes to complete their challenge. Pick a date and time to best suit your team.

 

Why?

The Great8 team challenge is an excellent way to test and fine-tune your team skills - with a healthy hint of team competition. All teams will take away a better understanding of the way they work. The winning team will also take away the team challenge trophy!
