This time last year we set ourselves a challenge at MoCo - to introduce a breath of fresh air into leadership, management and team development; literally and metaphorically. Through the Green Room we have achieved just this - a stunning outdoor team development area situated in the heart of Norfolk Broadland. The Green Room forms part of the Alderfen Marshes, a private nature reserve in Surlingham, offering an unusual and inspiring setting for team development.
Don’t expect high ropes and high adrenaline ‘team building’ (after all, we have the wildlife to consider): the Green Room offers teams the opportunity to plan, reflect and learn skills to enhance their effectiveness in the work place, whilst taking inspiration from the tranquility of the great outdoors. From ‘Conservation Team Building’, to ‘Leadership Away Days’ the Green Room caters for small teams (up to eight individuals) interested in taking away tangible and relevant benefits.
Green in name, nature and notion this ‘off-grid’ facility supports a flourishing wildlife community, boasts a low carbon footprint, with solar powered lighting and carbon neutral heating (using willow branches grown and coppiced from our marshes), not to mention deluxe off-grid ‘facilities’ should nature call.
Having run a number of successful introductory programmes in 2015, The Green Room is now open for business. We believe it’s mission accomplished - A real Breath of Fresh Air!
This Year we will be blogging about 50 Shades of Green to keep you posted with Tales from The Green Room!
